Cultured Marble
Cultured Marble is a composite polymer product formed when ground white marble is mixed with catalyst and color; then sealed with gelcoat. The gelcoat protects the surface and results in a shiny non-porous look.
Because cultured marble is a composite product, it can be molded into bathroom surfaces such as sinks, countertops, shower walls, bathtubs and even products such as window sills. Being non-porous it is more protected than natural marble and stone and less vulnerable to damage and staining..
